Spinal drop metastasis of choroid plexus papilloma.Kaptanoglu E, Tun K, Celikmez RC, Ozen O, Taskin Y Ankara Numune Education and Research Hospital, Department of Neurosurgery, Ankara, 06550, Turkey. erkankaptanoglu@yahoo.com A rare case of choroid plexus papilloma (CPP) with spinal drop metastasis is presented. A 51-year-old woman was operated on for a tumor of the fourth ventricle with histopathological diagnosis of CPP. Seven years later, she was re-admitted with low back pain. MRI showed multilobulated tumor at the lumbosacral subarachnoidal space with histopathological diagnosis of CPP. Thus, CPP can spread via the cerebrospinal fluid pathways and cause drop metastasis.
